We booked in the Gansevoort Miami Beach for the weekend. The staff is friendly and helpful, checkin was a breeze. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. Nice hotel... people in front desk and staff were very helpful. Not too many options for good food and beers at the pool. I'm having to dispute their charges, they keep charging me for two nights and i was only there one night. I've spent hours trying to resolve it and they are indignant and unhelpful. Rooms are dated and old. Construction all around it keeps you up at night. Terrible ocean view. More

We booked into an ocean view suite and we hugely dissapointed. The room was huge but there were scuff marks and cracks on the furniture. The windows were so dirty you could barely see out. They announced today that they're changing the name and spending $100m on an upgrade. Needs it. Everything is v tired and shoddy. 3 star staff. Avoid until it's re-done although roof top bar worth a visit. More

I ended up here after the Standard made a mistake...... Should have done better research....We arrived at 5pm and weren't given a room until close to 8pm......Their apologies only went so far....they then gave us $150 credit for food and drink.
