Had business in town so stayed here for one night. Property is dated but in decent shape. Room was comfortable and clean. There's a pleasant lobby and bar. The main restaraunt is closed. The alternative on-site restaraunt looked like it had folding tables and chairs - never saw anyone dining there at dinner time. Pool area is spacious and attractive.... more

Excellent location. Rooms very clean and in my experience spacious. Pool area is fantastic with lots of loungers and space. Relaxed pool bar, pool bar staff were cool! Will be booking again soon. more

The hotel definitely needs updating. I've stayed at many a hotel and we stayed here on our Hilton Honor points, which was was not worth the top end of 40,000 points. We stay at the DoubleTree Surfcomber often. This last trip I was pleased to find a new third-party service running their beach access. They have new, confortable lounge chairs, new umbrellas, and new beach-side service. They even reduced (that's right, reduced) the price of umbrellas!
