we keep going back....It needs a makeover..the rooms are tired and not kept well. The pool area was never cleaned at night and staff was rarely there to help,,,on the good side, tennis is still great, the beach is fantastic and the rates were very reasonable. It will be interesting to see what happens with the foreclosure? more

We stayed at the Colony in June 2009 and we had a great time. The 2 bedroom suite was perfect for my family. The rooms were very clean and it had all the amenities we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the property is beautiful. Can't ask for anything more. We will be back again. more

If you have young children this is the place for you! Our 4 year old loved the "Kidding Around" program, and our two year old couldn't get enough of the beautiful private beach. We don't understand a lot of bad reviews here for The Colony. We stayed for three nights in july 2009 with 2 kids ages 3-6. Our stay was fabulous, the beach was gorgeous and hotttttttt. Our unit was clean. I think people expect more for less along the beach. Great for families, we want to return. more

Very out dated facilities. Sanitation is lacking in all areas. Beaches are beautiful and people at front desk are very nice. Everything else needs a major make over.
