We stayed at the Away Inn recently (September) and were very disappointed. The room we had was unkept and dirty, and had a smell of mold. The carpet was stained and also had a bad smell. We stayed at the Away Inn last month for 2 nights. The place was horrible !!! The bathtub was full of mold. The water was yellow. The sheets on the bed were stained. The staff was unfriendly and took several hours to come to our room when we called. Will never stay there again! more

Wonderfull, beautiful, relaxing, and serene these best discribe this great hotel. My family and i stayed there because our house was being tented and needed a nice place to stay for a night with my very picky dad... who loved it!!!!! We thought this was a family hotel, but the hotel across the road and this hotel are the same chain. It was expensive for not being on the beach. The one bedroom suite was really dark and dull not bright as shown on web site. It was clean the cleaning staff where lovely and friendly.But iwould not stay there again. more

Away Inn is a nice tastefully decorated and spotless clean hotel. You can enjoy all amenities in your room (TV, Iron, Fridge, Microwave, cooker, dishes...). This was the 3rd time we stayed here within the past year. Dorothy, the innkeeper, and her staff are fabulous, they do everything possible to make your stay most enjoyable. The rooms are clean and come complete with all the amenities you could possibly need, the beds have a soft mattress though. We always utilize Publix, CVS and Duncan Donuts.... more

The Away Inn was perfect for us. Only 1 block to the beach and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The room was very clean and a great size. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband and I stayed at Away Inn for one night on our way back from a week in Key West. The inn is completely redone and is very clean, fresh and tastefully decorated.. Fantastic service also. The pool area is beautiful. I cannot think of anything negative to say. If we're ever in LBTS again, we'll DEFINATELY stay here! more
