Quaint little campground with amazingly friendly staff. Leo's was affordable, easily accessible and a perfect blend of natural beauty and Key West flare! Facility was kept clean and they are making some renovations. As far as noise, after the first night the planes and traffic did not bother us at all. Key West has a large population of roosters!!! So... More

Good location. Very quite. Small but located in a great area. Short walk to trolley stop number 7 so you can go into town. Clean. The folks that work and stay there were very friendly. There are some friendly roosters walking around. Some air plane noise but that didnt bother us, mostly Navy jets that we saw.

I stayed here in January, 2013. I was met by a pretty large iguana, which contributed an occasional nighttime splash in the creek behind the tent site. I was not as disturbed by the noises as other reviewers. Not the traffic noise but an occasional navy jet flyover and those roosters. A different one sounded the alarm each hour, beginning... More

This campground has a great location and the price is very affordable, making it possible to do water activities which could be costly and dinning out. I was skeptical about this place by reading previous reviews but I could not pass the price and I am glad I didn't. The campground is small with very clean restrooms the staff was... More

I tried finding a place to tent in Key West during Thanksgiving. Since I started my search very late, this was - kinda - my only option. I did not expect the place to be great, and hence did not have too many expectations. I reached at about 7 PM, stayed only one night, and left for the Tortugas cruise... More

Just recently stayed here for 2 nights and was blown away by this site, and not in the good way. They charge you $60 to sleep in a parking lot...you'd be better off camping at Walmart. Seriously. The staff were rude and condescending, and the facilities were dirty and only partially operational. While searching for a campsite to stay at,... More

The service here is terrible! The lady working there was very rude and unprofessional. She overheard my conversation about how horrible the place was and instead of having good customer service, and asking how she could make it better, she made a rude remark and walked by. I LOVE camping but this place isn't a campground. Instead it is literally... More

This campground is terrible! The tent sites are very small, right on a canal that comes over the wall during high tide. The place is noisy both traffic and fellow campers yelling all night. No nighttime security to quiet things down. One toilet, shower, and sink for the whole campground. Place was very expensive for what you got, which was... More

If you want a cheap place to camp just outside Key West, this is your place. We stayed here for two nights and we were in a tent. Tents places aren't very roomy and equipped with a bbq and a table. The campground has clean showers and bathrooms. It is conveniently locayed for a kayak rental site and just 4miles... More
