This quaint timeshare complex isn't called Mariner's Boathouse for nothing. Beginning with turning into the parking lot, you have a green light on your left and a red light on your right to make you feel like you're sailing into the place. Walking into the rooms, you forget you're in a hotel and think you're on a boat, from the... More

I would not recommend using Mariner's Boathouse as an exchange destination if you are accustomed to upgraded or new, modern accommodations. The resort is old...28 years old, and it appears that updates have been few and far between. I used 3500 points to exchange to this resort and was somewhat shocked when we arrived. Let me say the place is... More

Perfect little getaway. All we heard was the waves lapping on shore! Service was great, roomswere cute and nautical. Staff was friendly, but gave us our privacy! http://www.bluegreenonline.com/explore/resortDetail.aspx?ResortID=28

Our stay was ok but I will not go back to this resort again. I had to was my own towels every day just to take showers daily. One of the staff members said we don't have maid service here. The beach was on the other side of a lagoon. We had to walk around it to get to the... More

My wife, sister-in-law and mysely just spent 7 nights at this resort. The rooms look just like you are on a boat, with bunk beds in the kitchen built right into the wall, the kitchen table is attached to the wall with slide in cushion's.Both bathrooms are decorated with boat fixtures and the window's are port holes. My wife and i... My husband and I, daughter and her children stayed here for a week. Unfortunately, Tropical Storm Fay was on its way and we had to evacuate for a day and stay inland in Fort Myers. It rained for several days. Many of the other guests checked out and never came back. They were told to make their own arrangements when... More

We stayed at the Mariner Boathouse for a week through an exchange with Interval International. Its a small resort with one small pool and hot-tub. Plus things are the great view from each unit with a large balcony outside your living room. You walk out of the back gate and you are on a stretch of sand. If you then... More

First like to give high points to the staff (Debbie I think?), for coordinating daily crafts and activities for children (4-10 range). My 6 year old really looked forward to these activities, and they helped make his vacation memorable. Pool area is very nice, equipped with several gas grills, shuffleboard, volleyball net, and hot tub. Took advantage of the outstanding... More

We stayed here for a week and I am planning on going back in Oct. 2007. Rooms were great, with two baths, 1 bedroom and large screened in terrace(they may call it something else) and full kitchen. Directly on the beach, beautiful shells and the people were top knotch friendly. Great family place or alone wth that special someone. I... More

We stayed at the Mariners` Boathouse from 5th - 12th August. Due to some travel delays, we did not pitch up until midnight. There is not a 24 hour reception, but fortunately the resort had an effective system for room key collection out of hours. The rooms follow a nautical theme complete with cabin bunks and bench seats in the... More
