The beach was very nice, we were right on the beach in a newer part of the hotel. Our first room had dirty carpets and smelled like a wet dog. Nice hotel. Great location. The staff is friendly. The hotel does charge for valet parking. $16 per day. That was kind of a rip off. We stayed in an ocean front room./ Dont waste the money on it. Stayed for one night pre-cruise. Check in was quick and polite. We were given a room in the beach building. Directions to get there were easy and we had no problems getting there with our own suitcases. The hallway in the beach building was 'over air-freshened' but our room was not. The question read, would you recommend....... Not a chance. The beach staff were good. The hotel itself is tired, very smelly,stained floors and rugs. Needs to be brightened up. You can only clean dirt off of dirt for so long.I am going next door to the Marriot more
