My husband and I stayed here in December - just looking to get away from New York before the holiday hustle and bustle. We wanted to be on the beach and we didn't bother to rent a car. The hotel location is WONDERFUL - right on a beautiful beach and we were lucky to have some warm days to enjoy.... More

This hotel is beautiful! The staff is so friendly and the views are spectacular. The rooms on the East side have little balconies so you can soak up some sun while checking out the ocean. They have turn down service and leave yummy chocolates beside the bed. The mini bar prices are a little staggering and the soda machine wouldn't... More

All that you would expect from a Marriott. Rooms were very nice (AC could work a little faster) and kept well. Resturant, lounge, and spa were great. However, it is pricey.....$7 for a beer, $12 for a mixed drink, $25 for a breakfast buffet??? Beach access is right off the balcony, but going to other places is a bit of... More

Sea level and ocean bar was very good. Try the lump crabmeat and arugula salad or the fish tacos for lunch. NIce heated pool and spa, beach not crowded and beach staff helpful getting chairs, setting up umbrella for no fee. Many good restaurants in walking distance or a short cab ride. I had facial at spa and it was... More

We stayed 2 days and nights before heading to another hotel on Miami Beach. The beach area is huge and private for the hotel guests. Very easy walk out the back of the lobby. Self parking was $25 /day. We picked up snacks and drinks at the grocery store over the causeway, so we did not eat at the property.... More

We stayed for one night at this resort after we returned from our cruise. The folks at the front desk are kind and accommodating but this place is clearly overpriced! The rooms are mediocre and we requested a roll away and their feedback was something lame about a fire hazard! Really? We stayed at the Hampton airport hotel and had... More

This is the 3rd year we have taken our small boys to this resort. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH about the staff and the resort. A few staff in particular: Andre (pool area), Thomas (from Astoria, Queens, pool area) Tina (surf club) Natasha (surf club) and Richard, one of the managers at the resort. Everything about this resort is perfect. All... More

I stay at Marriott hotels on a regular basis, and I must say that my experience at this hotel this past weekend was my least satisfying. When making this reservation, I requested 2 ocean view rooms, each with two queen beds. I called twice to reiterate this special request, but was told both times that this could not be guaranteed.... My apologies for your experience with the chairs, but thank you for your reviews regarding the rest of the resort. Our cabinettes, pool beds, bungalows and cabanas can all be reserved to ensure this doesn't happen to others. This was an extremely busy week and typically with over 1000 chairs available we have plenty for everyone - I do hope... More

I was traveling alone with my two children, and wanted to spend some time with them prior to a planned cruise leaving Port Everglades. I did my own research on hotels before deciding on this resort. My goal was to spend three nights, at a nice family resort, away from the "Girls Gone Wild" atmosphere that Ft. Lauderdale beach attracts... More

Yes the room rate was high but you get what you pay for. This is a self-contained resort, with a beautiful lobby and on lovely grounds. What you get for your money is value. Excellent accommodations, excellent service and some nice touches that make guests feel welcomed to justify cost. Complimentary services that I experienced: pool and beach towels, ongoing... More
