Another great trip to the Alcazar/Worthington. Staff is friendly and attentive. Resort gets better every time we go. Guest are friendly. I like to stay on the Alcazar side as is a little quieter and can alway wander over to the Worthington side. I'm looking forward to my next trip!

Stayed at the Worthington/Alcazar guesthouse for 3 nights in March and had a great time. The property is well maintained and service is excellent. I stayed on the Alcazar side which appeared to be a bit more quiet but that is just an impression and not one based on fact as I was not sleeping on the Worthington side. The... More

Thank you for your kind words. I have called in my head housekeeper with respect to the linens. We very recently upgraded all bed linens at both buildings and no longer use duvets covers. We purchased all new High thread count sheets, new feather lite duvet blankets that get folded between two top sheets, Bed scarfs and new pillows. I... More

I've been staying at the Alcazar for a number of years and have never been disappointed. The rooms are very clean, the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating - always very helpful, and above all 'attitude free', a great plus for a gay resort 😉. The air-conditioning is efficient; the rooms are spacious; the beds and linen very comfortable; breakfast... More

I had a nice time there. The property is in excellent shape, and the owners work their butts off to keep it that way. The staff was great, the front desk was great. Very helpful and professional. We get used to being treated poorly and putting up with trashy rooms at resorts like this, and it's a refreshing change dealing... More

My partner and I had never visited Ft. Lauderdale before this summer, and we were so pleased when we realized we booked the perfect place to stay. When I am on vacation I don't much care to have women and children around, and I don't much care to have to wear clothes when I don't have to, so I always... More

Went to Ft. Lauderdale for business and following with a cruise, I needed a place that was clean, comfortable, safe, close to the ocean, social, and managed by professionals. I found all of this at this resort. I was impressed with the service and reception I received upon arrival...I was even escorted to my room and welcomed graciously. The restoration... More

I just returned from a week's stay at the Alcazar and have nothing buy good things to say. I travelled there alone and got a ground-level room right off the pool and had the exact kind of "get-away" I needed. The room was modest but very clean--and the bed was extremely comfortable (I'm now bed shopping as a result). I... More

Not a bad place for an couple of nights stay. Other guests were complaining about the hot tub chlorine level. One guest's blue bathing suit turned red after getting out of the hot tub...faded from the chlorine. My biggest beef was that the TV sucked. Little 17" TV that got maybe ten or twelve channels. Local channels and QVC, WGN,... More

I'm sorry to hear that your tv was not receiving all the expected Channels during your stay. All TVs have been replaced with 32" flat screens. I'm sorry we cannot control the cable company problems, they have it all straighten out now and all channels work. As far as the bathing suit I have heard of that once before, the... More

Spent 4 nights here and was NOT impressed at all.... Management was a pain, no service towards customers, Bathroom was never cleaned once during our 4 night stay !! Overnight rift-raft if you know what I mean.....once the office closes, free for all every night with strangers sleeping by the pool.....or knocking at your door. Not a place for total... More

Very disturbing review, but I have to exception to it. All rooms receive daily housekeeping and are signed off by supervisor. I'm sorry but I can't believe your statement. We received the White Glove award from superior Lodging for housekeeping. We do allow strangers to sleep by pool and have staff do walk through of property several times a night.... More
