OK - first of all for the price and the location, it wasn't bad. Just don't go expecting The Ritz or brand name hotel quality. The address says Ft. Lauderdale but it's actually Lauderdale-by-the-sea. It's an older Motel but the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. No glamour and definitely not a romantic spot --- but the rooms are big and the location is excellent. Would be great for a family or a bunch of friends. more

I went there because of the reviews on Trip Advisor. Those glowing reports must have been for some other property. The Beach Palace is disgusting. The elevator was filthy, the room door was warped, the paint is peeling, the room was dark but not dark enough to hide the dirt. The bathroom was moldy and the towels were paper thin.... more

After cancelling our reservation at the Days Inn we found this all pink place on A1A with balconies in every room with a bit of ocean view between high-rise houses opposite the street, at least from the 3rd floor.
