This hotel was great for the money. It was very close to restaurants, and we were upgraded to an oceanview room upon check-in. While the room appeared to have been renovated and was very nice, the hallway carpets and especially the elevator carpets were in need of an upgrade. I would have also liked in-room safes. Breakfast was better than... more

This was a great hotel. You could not ask for a better location. The rooms were very large, clean and nice. The breakfast was great, a large variety of hot and cold foods. We would stay there again for sure. Just walk across the street to the beach! If I could make any suggestion it would be to have a... more

The hotel literature defines itself as a "European style" hotel. We did not understand that comparison. This hotel is as American as a hotel can get. There were some vines painted on the wall, and a few other stencils here and there, but that would be the only European influence. This hotel is clean. The rooms are sufficiently large. The... more

We stayed here for two nights over the first weekend in August. The location is nice - right across from a city park beach access. I felt like the hotel web site was a little misleading about the amenities. It seemed to imply that there would be beach chairs and when I called the front desk, they referred me to... more

We really had a hard time choosing which place to stay. We chose the Hampton Inn first and they were sold out. This was our second choice but were we glad the first choice was sold out. Luxery beds to sleep inn. The flat screen tvs were fantastic. There was nothing left to be desired on the free breakfast here.... more

I traveled here with my son a few years ago. The hotel was quite new then. Great location, very clean and comfortable. The rooms were standard. Great view of the beach. April was a bit chilly for my beach time. more

I was tempted to stay at the number 1 hotel listed on tripadvisor, but decided that since I wanted to be near the beach, I'd give this hotel a try. I'm so glad I did. The hotel was very easy to find and was easy to access. The girl at the front desk put me in her "favorite" room. If... more

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It's not the Ritz, but is a great value for the price. It's a very short distance to the beach (just across a small road and down a walkway), the rooms were nicely updated and the bed very comfortable, and the continental breakfast was pretty good as well. The only negative is the... more

Nice and clean hotel. Nice places to eat within walking distance and its less than 8 miles from the Historic district etc. Stayed in the Temperpuedic King bed with feather-softed pillows. We booked this place because other reviewers spoke about how comfy the beds were and they were correct. Again, a decent place to stay especially to be accross from... more

This is a decent property, somewhere between a 2 and 2.5*. It's comparable to a Hampton or Fairfield. It's just across the street from the beach and close to lots of everything. Hotel is older but some work has been put into it. The hallway smelled upon our arrival but everything in the room was OK. The tub dripped some... more
