This is a place with great potential, but it needs a bit of work. It did not appear that sufficient attention was paid to cleaning and maintenance. As others have said the Rod and Gun Lodge may once have been the place to stay but not anymore. You cannot stay in the hotel anymore, instead you are placed in one of the tiny bungalows within the grounds. These are in a poor state of repair. Don't even think about eating,drinking or staying here. The food is of a very poor standard & vastly overpriced. The service is dreadful.

Please don't let your staff smoke on the front steps of your property. It's not at all welcoming when you have to walk past them to check in and another time when we were going up the steps to the bar by the pool. $125/night in January is not bad for accommodation in Florida in season and there are not...
