1st room no A/C, 2nd room poor A/C and filthy! Stayed one night then moved to another hotel. They charged my CC for the weeks stay so I had to dispute charge on credit card because they hadn't refunded money. They were in a remodeling stage but I won't stay there ever. more

8AM on my vacation, all I hear is construction. Would rather hear the waves crashing on the beach than a circular saw outside my door. Almost lost an eye from the forceful water pressure in the shower, left black/blue. Couch in room smelled like wet dog, I guess it masked the mold smell tho. I had an oceanfront room close to the pool. There were hammocks to lay in (very relaxing). We watched the sun rise. The Hotel is close to everything. We spent three days at the Hawaiian Inn in Daytona Beach Shores last week. Being fans of Hawaii, we were hoping for Aloha spirit, flowers, beautiful decor, etc. We found just that. I have read the reviews here and 90% of them are lies!! Yes there is construction but it is very minimal and people are commenting on how rundown it is, well thats what there fixing!! You get what you pay for people the Hawaiian Inn is worth the cost!! Have I stayed in nicer places? Sure, but they cost more.... more
