Stayed for 4 nights. Room smelled of incecticide. Bathroom toilet was an afterthought. It was so close to the wall and vanity that you couldnt even ...well you know. There is one word for this motel - DUMP. Whereas it has plenty of 'curb appeal', and the photos on the Daytoa Beach website make it look wonderful, once inside it quickly changes. I stayed at the saxony many times growing up, so when I went to Daytona in April 2005 I was very upset to find that the place was charging over a 100 bucks when there was no events in town. The hotel has become very ran down and it was a little scary with the types of other guests there.... more
