Nothing special about this hote at all. The location is absolutey terrible...I can't belive someone would build a hotel behind a gas station/shopping area with nothing else around it. We couldn't walk anywhere except Shell. The staff was attentive, but we always had to ask for everything first. Nothing was offered up to us...no anticipation of our needs or interest.... more

We had read horrible reviews about other hotels in the area. This was the ONLY one that had consistently good reviews. We chose this hotel because of the reviews and the distance to my daughter's apartment (coral gables), her school (UMiami) and points of interest. LOVED IT! My room was clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I loved the location--it seemed to be close to everything and walking distance to the shops in Coconut Grove. I was able to spend a few hours relaxing at the pool one afternoon and I found it well maintained and nicely landscaped.... more

A pleasant 2 night stay stay. Good value for the money especially with breakfast included. Relatively safe location and with plenty of low cost restaurants close by. We stayed here last week pre-cruise for 1 night. They have a wonderful, friendly staff and easily accessible to the port of Miami. The free breakfast is the best part of the stay ... there is a wide variety of food and beverage choices and some of the items rotate day to day so you don't get offered the same stuff. The hotel location was close to everything. It has a warm, friendly and helpful staff. We even had left my sons shark tooth necklace behind and they kindly returned it after finding it. BUT the reason for my not so stellar review is one of the beds were not changed because we found another persons bodily hair all over it.... more
