The ocean view is great, but you really have to walk quite a ways to get to the beach itself. And then there is not much beach there. Very rocky, so take water shoes. Great view - gulf view room allows viewing of the watercraft going to and from the harbor/private boat slips. There is no sand beach in front of the hotel, only the channel entering the gulf.
