We had a great time over April break at the Blue Wave Motel! It's a two block walk to a less-crowded section of the beach and just about everything else. Rodney and Gail couldn't have been nicer to our two boys-candy and beach toys, and they were happy! We will definitely be back the next time we visit Clearwater.

The room was adequate. If it were my choice, I'd had opted to provide a larger television or update the furniture rather than spring for granite counter tops. The full size fridge was a nice plus. Must agree. The Blue Wave has been a favorite of ours as well. The friendly and caring staff makes us feel like we are visiting family members. We needed a little more room on our past two visits to Clearwater as family came along with us, but we always love to stop by and chat with Gail and Rodney.

I found this hidden gem while looking for a place close to Heilman's Beachcomber restaurant which was the venue for my daughter's wedding reception.
