We stumbled upon the Gulf Side Motel this past weekend and had one of the most unexpected delightful weekends ever! We stayed in the honeymoon suite which is abundant with charm and coziness. Let's begin by saying this was the dirtiest motel I have stayed in since Galveston TX 1985 family vacation.
1) Pros:
a: lady who answered the phone for our inquiry while driving back home post-Christmas was very nice. Recommended we come and see the rooms first before booking.

I frequent this motel often to fish and enjoy the "Old Florida Charm" of Cedar Key. The rooms are cozy and clean. It is located right on the Gulf and there is a pier that gives you access to private fishing. The attendant Teresa was extremely friendly and helpful during my stay. I would recommend this motel to anyone.
