Island Place is a great place to stay while visiting Cedar Key!! Very nicely kept, clean, well decorated. It has a great pool area with a hot tub and most of all, a very welcoming staff!! I'll be staying here on my next visit!!

This is the most relaxing and wonderful place we've ever stayed! Cute and clean condo that easily slept 4 with balcony that hung over Gulf at high tide. 5 minute walk to beach, art shops, restaurants and kayaking...although you can cook in the room in the mini kitchen. We could watch sunrise from our balcony and cannot wait to stay... More

We arrived late with no reservations and was greeted most generously. Our condo was very well kept and affordable. The kids loved it and so did we! Right on the coast and near all the shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back. The stray cats didn't bother us at all. And, I couldn't smell them, unlike other reviewers.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a suite with bedroom, living room, bathroom and a full kitchen. Our room was gulf front with a balcony were we could enjoy the evening. Really a very nice place to relax and calm down. Everything was in a good condition. We enjoyed our stay very much!

This hotel has a great location that can't be beat and the size of the condos were perfect. It was a great place to visit with children as you could walk to 1st street locations and the park. We rented two units. 314 (2 bedroom) and 109 (1 Bedroom). The property is perfectly located and has a nice pool and a beach in front. The problem with the place is that it is absolutely filthy. The grounds are covered with stray cats whom the staff actually feeds! The stench of cat dropping was so intense beneath the waterfront... More
