Big pine is not known for great restaurants or tons to do but it is a great place to stay if you like to fish kayak and just hang out.

Very nice and clean resort and friendly and helpful staff. We had the lovelies surprise when we opened the back door to see a picnic table and walkway around the canal.

Great for boat lovers. Boat slips right outside efficiency rooms, easily accessible and safe. Rooms are dated decor, but all you need when you're playing outdoor all day. Rooftop pool and rec room are a bonus. Love the lodge store and all staff are super friendly.
