We were part of a large family group so we didn't get a choice on where we were staying. I was very concerned after reading the reviews on here. Overall the hotel was fine. Our rooms weren't completely finished when we arrived but I was happy to see the maid putting clean sheets on the beds and even wiping out... more

Our family checked into this hotel for Freshman family weekend at the Universtiy of Delaware. Within the first hour of checking in my husband went down the hall to look for a vending machine and was horrified to find himself in the middle of a drug bust. Decent basic accomodations. Average free breakfast. Our two bed room was clean along with the bathroom. We paid about $95. Extra pillows and towels requested...no problem. Bedding/mattress just OK. TGIFridays is right next door. No real amenities--a simple place to sleep when visiting Newark. Easy drive to UDelaware/downtown. Would stay again since other hotels were much more expensive. more
