We traveled through New England for two weeks this summer, staying at a variety of Bed and Breakfasts and Country Inns, and the Silas B. Robbins House was the best of all. The breakfast is excellent, the accomodations superb, and the hosts gracious and welcoming. If you are withn a hundred miles of the Wethersfield-Hartford area, you owe it to... More

How BEAUTIFUL!!! This place is what a B&B should be, and I’ve stayed in many. The owners should be given some sort of award for restoring this glorious old house to its present condition. Every detail is perfect. We only stayed overnight, but I wanted to spend more time just to walk around the house, the porch, and the gardens... More

My husband and I were married in Connecticut earlier this year and spent our wedding night at the Silas W. Robbins House. We booked the Cupids and Roses Room, which was beautiful--spacious, clean and comfortable. The room had several large windows overlooking the town green, letting in lots of natural light. The bathroom was quite small (not really enough room... More

small B&B in old Wethersfield, meticulously rebuilt old mansion that was saved from the wrecking ball by the innkeepers, who keep this inn squeaky clean & tidy for the fussy folks like us. Shireen makes outstanding full breakfasts, and accommodates celiac diets. More

Very magnificently restored mansion. Innkeepers very nice and attentive. Great restaurant within walking distance and a very delicious breakfast. Everything very clean and comfortable. Rooms very large and nicely decorated. Would definitely return when in the area again. More

My husband and I stayed here one night because he had to give a talk nearby. It was a little difficult to find a hotel that sounded good so we thought we'd try a B&B, even though we're really hotel people. This B&B is perfection. It had burned badly in 1996 and the reno took 6 years but has been... More

Just returned from our stay in this simply amazing bed and breakfast. Victorian home lovingly restored with finest materials, beautifully decorated and ultra luxurious accomodations. Innkeepers very warm, friendly, respectful of privacy. AMAZING breakfast. We stayed w/ our teenage daughter -- we all loved it. More

Wow! Where should I begin? We were treated every morning to a luxurious breakfast out on the three-story mansion's porch, free to sit there all morning watching the people and activities in the park across the street. When we we were there we were treated to the town's Memorial Day Parade... However, every day out on their porch was like... More
