Great location- our two children (ages 3 and 4) were in a wedding on the Yale campus. We had no trouble getting to and from for the rehearsal dinner and wedding itself. Room was clean, housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful (we encountered them when having some trouble getting into our room). Nice television- we were disappointed when we realized... More

Stayed there for 3 nights the week of Dec 4, 2011. The hotel location is convenient to Yale and to major businesses in the West Haven/New Haven. Restaurants and convenience stores are very close by which is helpful if you will not have a car. The hotel is fairly new and very, very clean. It just about exceeded my expectations... More

We were driving from JFK to Cape Cod after a transatlantic flight and wanted to break the drive. We booked a room here prior to our trip. The hotel staff were extremely courteous and efficient, the room was very large and spotlessly clean, with all the necessary amenities. The room was quiet even though the I-95 runs next to the... Stayed here for 3 nights, last week of November . No complaints. This appears to be a new hotel , so everything is in good shape . I did not attach any photos as if you have stayed at a Hampton Inn, you know what you will see. If you are here without a car, about a $22-26 cab from... More

This hotel was very good for our visit to our son at Yale. We arrived there in the October blizzard after driving 4.5 hours in the snow from New Jersey. The hotel was warm and comfortable, with a fireplace where I could warm my feet and read a book. Although it would have been more convenient to stay right in... More

When staying a couple of days in the New Haven area, we looked for a hotel there. Since we were driving, a place a little out of downtown New Haven was OK. I stumbled over this Hampton Inn and booked a room with two queens. When we arrived, it definitely looked a little out of the way, but the interior... More

Stopped here after driving in the rain from Staten Island. We were greeted by a very friendly young man at the front desk. We were checked in quickly. As we didn't eat dinner he directed us to the Texas Roadhouse next door. It hit the spot. It was a very clean hotel and breakfast was great. More

This was a great hotel, with a great room, great staff and great breakfast. Just far from the city. We were by car, it wasn't a big deal... More

After reading the positive reviews for The Hampton Inn, we changed reservations from another hotel to the Hampton, booking a King Suite for 2 weekend nights. We were very impressed! We had never been to this area of Connecticut and decided to visit for the weekend. The hotel location is convenient, right off the interstate, but it's not in a... More

No complaints. Traveled with husband and two small children and enjoyed the cleanliness and friendliness of staff. The hot breakfast was great too, something for everyone. The hotel is right next to the Texas Roadhouse and they have call ahead seating, which was something we took advantage of...loved that too! More
