Notable deficiencies: 1. Housekeeping is awful. The rooms were clean enough, but the staff doesn't speak English. They didn't understand my friend's request for a blanket, we finally had to call the front desk. My husband and I decided to take the kids on an overnight with a pool and jacuzzi. We picked the courtyard marriott because it had 2 queen bed AND as stated on this website and the marriott website that it had a roll out sofa bed. We stayed at this Courtyard for one night to attend a concert being held at Infinity Hall in Norfolk, CT which was about 50 minutes north of the hotel. From the outside I was a little hesitant on what I was getting into, but from the minute I walked into the lobby I could tell this hotel was different. We had quite a few rooms here for our wedding. This was nicer than some of the Courtyards I've stayed at in the past. Both rooms I stayed in were very nice. They were clean and well decorated. I heard nothing but good things from our guests. The bar area was nice and they served a very good breakfast there.... more

This is a very nice place to stay, but no continental breakfast included. Very nice rooms and many pillows, HDTV, nice pool and very hot hot tub. Very central and I'd recommend it. more

Stayed at the Courtyard in downtown Waterbury for 3 nights over the Columbus day weekend. Downtown area was rather dead, but there was a large shopping mall (with a JC Penney) within a short drive (or healthy walk). I stayed here alot last year and recently stayed again this year. I love the recent renovation. The rooms are a little cramped if you get 2 queen beds, but I would imagine there is more space with a king bed. Some people have mentioned uncleanliness, but my room was sparkling. They must have gotten rid of some lazy housekeepers.... more
