One of the most comfortable beds I have slept in (and in general hotels are upgrading their bedding with soft comforters and higher thread counts). Unfortunately, when I woke, the breakfast was dire. I mean how do you screw up an American breakfast?? Stodgy pancakes, industry fake syrup, overcooked (and I suspect old) sausages and bacon. Just everything was inedible... More

I've stayed here on two occasions for work over the past month. Rooms are nice and seem to be renovated recently. Free bottled water in room as well. My only complaint is the breakfast in the club lounge is very limited (no eggs, bacon, etc) and it always pretty depleted. More

Stayed at The Sheraton on New Year's Eve. My stay was uneventful and quite comfortable for the most part. The only nuisance was the people next door who were blowing horns, but that was understandable being that it was soon to be a new year. You do get a parking ticket slip, but I am not sure if that gets... More

This hotel renovated and clean rooms, Pool was filthy, staff were useless, TV bad, no movies because they did not check us in correctly. Claimed we checked in without a credit card or payment. Sure! Elevators full of beer bottles. More

Very comfortable clean business hotel. It used to be the Holiday Inn I believe, was changed to Sheraton in the past year or so. The rooms have all amenities, including clothing iron. Internet is NOT complimentary, as stated in the Expedia description! It's $9.99/day for 'regular service' and $19.99/day for "fast service.' (I found regular to be plenty fast). I... More

We are glad you enjoyed our hotel - thank you so much for your review. You are correct - we did convert our property to a Sheraton last year with a large property renovation and upgrade. We apologize for the error on our Expedia listing as that should now be rectified, however we're glad that you were correctly compensated for... More

The hotel was redone like a year ago. The lobby is nice and spacious. Rooms are up to date, great beds as usual with Sheraton and nice and clean bathrooms. Complimentary bottles of water and free coffee in the room, but I don't know if this is the case in every as I always have the SPG preferred guest upgrade.... More

This hotel has the best staff I have ever encountered. They create an environment where guest really want to return, as the care and attention to detail goes above and beyond. From the staff in the restaurant and the way they remember the regular guests preferences, to the front desk associates having a great smile, good information on the property... More

Stamford? Yup Stamford. You might, as I did, find yourself surprised by this state of the art Sheraton--yup Sheraton--in Stamford CT. My partner had a chess tournament so I just went along for the ride with low to no expectations. Surprise...the staff is 5 star, the lobby is more than 'hang out' worthy (with beautiful, comfortable seating areas and BIG... More

Caters mostly to business crowds; location is close to downtown Stamford (although a bit too far to walk); modern and expansive lobby; rooms are clean and well-stocked; self-parking rates in the connected garage are reasonable; Starbucks located in the lobby; used to be a Holiday Inn. More

Our thanks for taking the time to review our property.
