Overall a great hotel in the best location, but poor sound proofing was quite a problem when I was trying to adjust for jet lag. Talking from the street and noise resulted from some passionate activities in another room kept me up for quite a while in the early hours.

This is an excellent hotel. The room was very comfortable and very clean, the staff were very attentive and professional, and the breakfast was great. The furnishings in the room were very new and nice. This hotel was definitely worth way more than we paid. It is within walking distance of the Metro-North train station.

Maybe my expectations were too high based upon the other reviews, but there are definitely areas that need improvement. We arrived very late (due to airline delays). The staff was friendly, accommodating, and professional from the start. We appreciated the free shuttle to the train station. The breakfast was much nicer than the standard hotel fare. Our 4th floor room was well-appointed, clean - and quiet. The hotel was centrally located. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is still a favorite place to stay in Stamford. The front desk staff is helpful, housekeeping staff is REALLY great with room upkeep. One small critique, the hallways and elevator could use a litttle extra TLC. This coming from an individual with a cleaning business; so please no offense is meant. Thanks again for a great stay!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here; it was clean, and the room was very big. It was not super fancy, but definitely met our needs. They had a great free breakfast-which is always nice!
