A few of us stayed here for one night while visiting in the area. Rooms are outdated, funky smell, doors don't open or close easily, bldg falling apart in some sections, just an overall dingy condition. Our friends room had lousy tv color and a couple we spoke to in the restaurant said the smoke detector in their room made... more

We spent one night at this hotel when we visited Mohegan Sun for a concert in November 2007, the hotel is about 7 miles from Mohegan Sun, it has an outdoor pool and a complimentary breakfast, I would stay at this hotel again next time I visit Mohegan Sun. more

Well... we decided we needed a relatively inexpensive place to stay as we were in the area of East Lyme for a week. We checked out a few hotels and stayed at others in the area including Quality Inn in Groton and the Griswold Inn in Essex. Well.. we arrived and the hotel had not changed much since I was... more

This was the third time in three years my wife and I stayed at this day’s inn. The place literally looks like it’s five minutes away from going out of business, all three times we stayed there the place was a ghost town and the parking lot empty, you could hear a pin drop in the halls at night. The... more

My wife and I were invited to a wedding in the Mystic area and we didn't want to spend a fortune on a hotel, so I spent almost a week online comparing B&Bs and motels all around the Mystic area, calling places directly, inspecting their websites for clues, and Googling ad nauseum. The selection was tough. Initially, I settled on... more

The breakfast was advertised as "continental" and, really, only amounted to the barest of breakfasts of the "continental" type. No fruit, no pastries (unless the motel thinks that 1" wide muffins are pastries), no juice , tiny english muffins. Alas, there was jelly but nothing to spread on more

Stayed at this hotel while on vacation. It appeared practically empty. Rooms were typical for a Days Inn, clean, but need some care. Rooms were large with queen size beds, two sinks one inside and one outside bathroom which made it nice for a number of people getting ready, room also had a refrigerator and microwave. Outdoor pool was clean.... more

In early August, 2003 I visited the Days Inn, Niantic, CT and was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the room and facility. The office staff was very accommodating as I was traveling alone with two small children and the clerk made every effort to give me an easy access room. The bathroom shower was a bit worn, and the... more
