This Inn suffers from its own marketing. Its website talks of the 'Mansion on the Hill' stayed in by Humphrey Bogart & Lauren Bacall on honeymoon. The pictures and the descriptions are a total misrepresentation. This motel (that is really what it is) sits atop a hill and looks beautiful from afar. The pictures on the web site look great.... The actual hotel, not so much. It's very dated and expensive, strangely. We paid $300 for one night. I stayed here the last week in August. The hot weather had moved on, the days were warm and sunny, the nights cool (had sliding door open, blanket on bed).
