We had two separate one night stays at this hotel, one on Christmas Eve, and one on New Year's Eve. The lobby is very welcoming... very modern. The front desk staff was very friendly (even though they had to work these holiday evenings), and cheerfully granted us our requests in room. The room was spotlessly clean. It is an average... More

We found a nice, very clean room here at a great price. The room was very quiet and the front desk staff were all very friendly and pleasant. The breakfast was was great too. We will definitely stop there again when in the area. More

We only stayed one night, and we had no problems. After we checked in, the front desk called to see if everything was okay. The room was clean, lovely bedding, big flat screen TV. No funky odors. We love the free hot buffet breakfast at Hampton Inn, but some have been better. The staff was friendly & helpful. The location... More

This motel has easy on and off access to I-95 is close to a lot of shopping in the Milford area along US-1. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful, the motel is clean and well kept, nice hot breakfast every morning. It is an older property but well kept, and can be a little noisy at times... More

I wish I'd believed the bad reviews of this hotel. I stayed one night, arrived late to find that the "quiet room away from the highway" I'd requested didn't exist. I did up with a room away from the highway, but it was just off the lobby and opposite the hotel laundry room. The room itself had seen better days,... More

This is a rather small and clearly older Hampton Inn property. The physical plant is very dated, and the rooms are very small, although well laid-out. The tiny bathrooms are claustrophobic, but then most guests probably wouldn't choose to spend a lot of time in the bathroom nor care to share it with fellow guests. There is, after all, such... More

We started staying here when we decided last minute to stay overnight when dropping our daughter off freshman year at Yale. At that last minute none of the hotels closer to Yale were available so we stayed here. It is now our usual spot,as it is far less expensive than the places close in. And given that if you're not... Like many families in my area, my wife and I sough out hotel accommodations while we were without power during Hurricane Irene. Most of the hotels in the area were filled to capacity as was this Hampton Inn. The staff at this property is without equal. Each and every staff person I encountered during my three day stay was friendly... More

We found ourselves out of power after Hurricane Irene, and the Hampton Inn of Milford luckily had power - a rare commodity right after this storm on the Shoreline of Connecticut. The staff's (housekeepers, concierge and management) level of care went above and beyond our expectations. Even a repair man came at 9:30 at night to repair our air conditioner... More
