I have stayed there 3 times to visit my son at Wesleyan. The place is clean and what choice do you have if you need to stay in Middletown: either The Inn at 150 a night or the place north of town, which is really really bad. Hard to find - about 3 miles from Middletown. Run by Indian family who manage the Indian restaurant next door - it's the only place to eat nearby but at least the meals are generous. The motel was cheap but very basic and quite shabby. Coffee was only available through a machine at the entrance and cost 50 cents.
