We have gone there a few times and it's been nothing but perfect. The rooms are spacious and very clean and foremost comfortable.

Took at quick getaway trip to celebrate the end of tax season! Needed to reconnect with spouse and spend some time together just enjoying each other's company. Inn was beautifully landscaped in a casual country setting. Grounds and dining room were lovely, would be a GREAT place for a small wedding. Room was beautifully decorated, and very private. The bed... More

If you're looking for a winter pick-me-up overniter at a quintessential new england inn, this is the place! lovely antique inn, with fireplace on "main" floor, as well as one in our guest room! if you need a tv,you must stay in the "main" building with the restaurant. i think they have dvd's to borrow, too. our overnite stay (under $200)... I struggled a bit between giving this B&B three or four stars, but finally settled on four when considering the inn overall. My husband and I stayed at the Stonecroft for a romantic, weekend getaway. I'll start with the room - we stayed in the Schubel Suite, which was very nice. The room has a very comfortable king-size bed, but... More

Thank you for your feedback. We at Stonecroft are continually looking for ways to improve the guests experience, including our new restaurant Tradewinds. We are sorry you didn't enjoy your dinner, but the lack of details makes it difficult to respond. We have been getting a great response to our Prime Rib and Stonecroft Scallop specials on Friday nights. And... More

This is a long overdue review, but two years later the memories remain of our wonderful, fabulous destination wedding weekend. What began as a milestone birthday celebration quickly transformed into a last minute surprise wedding celebration due to Connecticut's legalization of marriage rights for all. My partner and I couldn't have pulled it off without the incredible guidance and support... More

Upon arriving at the 1807 house we were drawn into the common area with a fireplace lit and soft guitar music. Thank you Katie for staying a little late to check us in. I had brought a bottle of Champagne and was so happy to see my ice bucket full of ice and two wine glasses ready to go. We... More

Great alternative to staying staying at Foxwoods or Mohegan. We love it. This was a quick get away for us. We saw a concert at Foxwoods. It is about 12 minutes away. A get a way package or hide an sleep package is great. They come with a 3 course dinner and breakfast in the AM. ( all rooms come... More

My daughter was married there in October of 2011. Everything was great until the owner told us that we had to turn down the music at 8PM. He explained that it was disturbing his other guests. When I said what about the 80 guests at the wedding he said "i don'y have to deal with this and walked away. Since... More

We are happy that everything else about the wedding was great, but the reason we have a requirement to also rent the rooms in the Grange when there is an event downstairs in the dining room, is to ensure the success of the event without having to control music volumes. Unfortunately, in this case we made an exception to requiring... More

I am a frequent visitor to the Foxwoods Casino in the same town as the Stonecroft. Usually stay at the moderately priced hotels on Rt 2. Problem with those places are the paper thin walls, door opening and slamming shut all night long, loud drunk people yelling. So thought that a B&B a few miles away would be the right... More

Let me start by saying that this was the first bed and breakfast that I had ever stayed at. And am I in trouble since it is going to be hard to find a place that is as accommodating, and as comfortable as the Stonecroft Inn. While it was a 3 hour drive from NJ thanks for the CT traffic,... More
