A great hotel. Clean, friendly staff, access to health club while staying,. Great breakfast. Close enough to the United States Coast Guard Academy. There were quite a few pets and you would never know they were there. We stayed in the back building and it seemed very quiet. Although it is close to the highway we did not hear traffic noise and the neighborhood was good for exercising the dog. The charge for the dog was reasonable. I would definitely stay again. more

There to meet friends for tour of Mystic Seaport, and submariner's museum at Groton. As Carolinian, not familiar with local roads so finding the motel off !-95 wasa bit tricky first time. My sister in law booked this hotel for her stay with us because it was a great price and said it had been totally renovated in 2007. They only stayed one night because the hotel was in such terrible condition. The toilet was clogged and when the front desk was notified, they offered her a plunger! The pool was yellow.... more
