Decided to travel to Mystic, CT for the weekend last minute. Everything in Mystic was booked. We got a room through a dot com company for booking hotels. What an awesome day Sailfest was! The hotel needs work but the manager is a doll! Fireworks were great and the food was too! Will definitely be back next year! more
Booked this room through ---.com and it was very misleading! We arrived at 8pm and there was a sign on the door to call a number to get into your room. Upon calling that number you got a answering machine, in which no one calls you back. After waiting 40 minutes we finally get a call back to be told... more
Me & my son stayed at the Thames inn last year & went fishing on the Helcat; we also fished right at the motel. (it was a great time) we met a few locals. (Nice people) The Thames river is beautiful, Huge Boats- Subs! right next to it is a bait & tackle shop. down the road you can launch... more
Not worth the visit. Anyways, the Thames is more polluted from the Groton side from all the industry--Pfizer, EB, GE. The better view is from New London side. more
