I paid $75 thru expedia for a room with two double beds. On site free parking was convenient. Front desk personnel were nice and accommodating. Room was clean. TV was old. Beds were comfy but you tended to fond a "home" in the middle of them. Room internet is NOT free...which is a real drag, but I guess it is... more

I stayed at this hotel and logged into my bank account today to find that I was charged for smoking in my room when I don't even smoke. First, the staff was very accommodating and nice. I was there for several weeks and they were always pleasant and helpful. Stayed for one night in a room that looked as though the carpet, bedding. drapes and even furniture were brand new. Very comfortable beds. The gym also seemed to have all new equipment. I've stayed at the Hartford Sheraton twice now, and also arranged for a group (wedding) discount with this property. The Sheraton Hartford is a good choice for the Hartford area with easy (if slightly confusing) access off 84 and 91. Usual quality Sheraton amenities in the rooms, and a good room service menu. If you need a place to stay with your pooch, you cannot do any better than this Sheraton. They don't charge any extra for your pet, and there is green space all around the hotel.
