I've learned to always check the sheets first thing upon entering a hotel room. I often book a double just to give myself a 50/50 shot at having one bed with clean sheets. It didn't work this time. We stayed at this hotel, because my girlfriend had enough Priority Club points for a free night's stay. I typically prefer Holiday Inn's over other economically-based hotels. However, next time I'm in Danbury, I'll consider other options, including the Courtyard, which is right across the street, or the much newer Hampton Inn in just 1/4 mile away.
