We stayed here for one night on our way coming from Rocky Mountains National Park in early September. We hadn't heard of it before and we were absolutely amazed with it. I walked in downstairs to ask the price, was surprised at how reasonable the price was, so we took it. Then we went upstairs and were so surprised! The... more

Immaculately kept premises* - friendly, personable, helpful staff - charming lodging w true personality (not cookie-cutter rooms) - a little bit funky, not glamorous, but very attractive and comfortable - lodgers respectful of quiet hours, cleaned up after themselves in kitchen. Our 4-night stay in one of the 5 private rooms on main floor included free breakfast in a casual,... more

We spent 5 nights here while exploring the Rocky Mountain back roads in our 4wd vehicle. The location was great for us. It might be a bit far out for the average sightseer. Rocky Mountain National Park is about 30 miles north and Mt Evans and Blackhawk casino area is about 30 or 40 miles south and east. Winter Park... more

Funky, fun, amazingly well-kept, and friendly: our family had a great time here. The communal kitchen is wonderfully supplied with nice, newer appliances and every utensil and implement you could imagine. We stayed in a private room, but the hostel rooms seemed very nice (better than most European ones). What really makes it, though, is the people you meet. It's... more

We loved the Rocky Mountain Inn and Hostel! The price is utterly fantastic for what you get. I had booked a private room with a king and a queensize bed. Both beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of storage space. There was a small refrigerator in the room as well as a TV and clock radio. The Inn is... more

A perfect stay! We had a private room with a lovely king bed. Housekeeping did a meticulous job and the room was spotless. I loved the fact that you have to take your shoes off when you enter, it gives things a homely feel. Price per night in June was a steal. We will definetly be back and hopefully next... more

Lonely Planet strikes again. I took their advice and booked this place. I do not regret it. 25 bucks get you a bed, a locker, a place to store skiis & boots, access to a phone & internet, access to a kitchen, and a TV. Loos & Showers are shared, but there are enough of them to go round, and... more

My wife and I just returned from a great week at Winter Park, staying at the Rocky Mountain Inn & Hostel in Fraser. We booked because of the price, and initially were concerned about the location, as it is in Fraser, adjacent to Winter Park ski resort. However, unless you are willing to pay the ridiculously expensive prices for being... more

Me and my husband stayed at the Rocky Mountain Inn and Hostel in mid August for a week. After much research on accomodations in Winter Park this was the cheapest place to stay in the Frasier - Winter Park area. Summer rates were 79-89 fri. and sat., 59-69 on sun.-thurs.. The place was very clean and well maintained. The inn... more
