Just back from a 10 day stay at the hotel, 25th - 4th Feb 2012, I too read all the negatives about the hotel but i like to make my own mind up and give people the benifit of the doubt, the Hotel it's self was very good a little expensive in the Bar but that's hotels for you eh,... More

We have just finished our holiday at winter park mountain lodge 29thJan-7th feb 10days, and have to say despite several bad reviews we had read, was pleasantly suprised. The front desk staff were more than helpfull, in fact excellent, and the accomadation was very clean. Our room was huge and very comfatable with controlable heating, tv and other comforts .... More

My husband and I stayed here for a 2 week snowboarding holiday and found it great, despite all the negative reviews. The staff more than made up for the average condition of the hotel itself. Our room was huge, with more than enough space to store all our snowboarding equipment. The staff make this hotel great, everyone was extremely helpful... More

Just returned from 10 nights in the WPML and was really very pleased and surprised that the horror stories recounted by some recent guests were not our experience. Yes, it a ski/mountain lodge so, hey readers, expect to find signs of this as guests trample all sorts of snow and muck in and out of the building day after day.... More

The location is outstanding, very close to the ski area and close to the village. The rooms were clean, with a nice view of the mountains. The coffee break was good and the brewery is a very nice place to eat and have some beers. The pool and hot tubs were a nice ammenity with a beautiful view of the... More

This older property provides an excellent opportunity to travel on a budget. The facilities are old but in very good working order, the reasonably sized pool and 2 hot tubs are great for relaxing after a day on the slopes. The staff are courteous and very helpful but the gem in the crown has to be the restaurant, the chef... More

We have stayed here several times over the years and it has continued its steady decline in service and upkeep but our stay in December, 2011 will be our absolute last! The walls and ceiling of the large indoor hot tub and pool area are completely overgrown with mold spores. In some areas of mold growth, you can no longer... More

I was quite disappointed to read the way you stated your opinion about our hotel, the pool area and in particular that I refused to meet with you or take your calls. My staff is usually very good in bringing to my attention any type of guest concerns or problems, as it is my policy and management style to personally... More

Not great. Strangely positioned on the other side of the main highway to the resort - awkward. We were there with a large group of students on a school ski visit. It served a purpose and our students thought it was fine. In my opinion, tired, in need of some TLC and a refurb. Could be stunning with a few... More

My wife and I stayed at the Lodge (now rebranding as a hotel) in early December 2011. The room was spacious, clean, however as expected, quite basic. There was however high speed wi-fi free within the room. This is very much a three star hotel. We ate at the restaurant once and were not particularly impressed - it was fast... More
