The best things about this facility are the proximity to the slopes, the friendly staff, popcorn in the locker room for boot changing and skis, and enclosed parking. We stayed at Montaneros over Labor Day weekend and we just made reservations to go back in 3/07. Montaneros is located in Lionshead, there are great restuarants, bars and ski rental located next to the building. The gondola is only 150 yards away. Once we arrived we never used our vehicle again. Stayed at Montaneros during January. Staff is absolutely fantastic when you need them. Invisible when you don't. Very well located and family friendly.
