Rooms are very large and clean. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Great bar food at the Altitude Sports Club. Has to be the best value in Vail. more

I read some bad reviews of the Evergreen Lodge, so I felt compelled to write my thoughts. The location was great - it's a 5 minute walk from Lionshead and a 5 minute walk from Vail Village - the two main areas in Vail. We stayed for 1 night in a room overlooking the mountain. It was beautiful, clean, and had a refrigerator. Close walking distance to Vail, and Lionshead. The Evergreen is a basic hotel which has seen better days. However, our room was spacious and clean, the staff were all helpfull polite and friendly and the hot tub and outdoor pool were fine.
