I truly loved my stay at the Hotel Madeline principally because the staff offers a genuine esprit de corps... from the general manager "Jim" to the overnight manager "Amber", each service experience I received was first class. I recommend this hotel to leisure and corporate travelers who are looking for a very comfortable guest experience whilst staying literally within arms... More

Hotel Madeline fit our needs perfectly. We were traveling with a large and intimidating dog which makes finding accommodations difficult. Although we arrived after midnight, we were treated with first-class service from even before we arrived (we had to call for directions from the town of Telluride). The staff was very kind, helpful, accommodating, and seemed eager to serve us... More

Had a very nice stay. The staff gives you a big welcome upon arrival. The rooms are very spacious and clean with a two-cup coffee/tea maker & mini fridge. The bathrooms are fabulous. There is also a really convenient button by the door that you can push on your way in and out to indicate whether you want maid service... More

My daughter and I stayed 3 days at the hotel. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. I also would have liked a whirlpool feature in the bathtub, but other than that it was wonderful. I also agree that we had a problem with the cooling/heating system. We left the door to the balcony open to cool the room.... More

Very friendly staff with a luxuriously decorated lobby. My room was enormous as well, with a bathroom divvied up in three parts, one for the sink, the toilet and an eye-catching bathtub, too bad it didn't have any whirlpool features though, which would have made it perfect. Instead of (or rather in addition to) the Do Not Disturb sign, there's... More

Everything was first class - reception, room, room service, location, checkout. Walk to the free gondola for transportation to Telluride. (The hotel is in Mountain Village, located above Telluride. If you are a walk-in, they will negotiate the rate for available rooms. The bathroom is separated from the sleeping area. All accoutrements were first-class, including wine glasses, bath robes, and... More

Ask for a room with a balcony as the view is breath-taking especially now with the aspens changing color. The room was exactly as others have reported-beautiful, quiet and comfortable. However as one reviewer reported there is a problem with the heating/air-conditioner. We had to leave our door open during the night to cool off the room as it stayed... More

Our check-in at Hotel Madeline got off to a rocky start. Apparently, our reservation had been cancelled and it was never quite clear, if it was the fault of the hotel or Expedia. However, they were able to accommodate us with a room, so all was well. The room was beautifully appointed, spacious and probably one of the most comfortable... More
