We stayed there 4 days. Great place, clean room (gets cleaned everyday) enough beds for a family, great healthy continental breakfast -( same things we eat at home), walk to town or hop on the free shuttle bus to the mountain.. Easy, fun, vacation.....simple. More

You can't find a better value for the price paid. Conveniently located near downtown, and just a short drive from Strawberry hot springs or the slopes. My wife and I will definitely be back! More

My husband and I stayed here in the fall and had a great visit. We were pleasantly suprised by how nice this motel was. Convient location and we walked a short distance into the town during the day and evening without difficulty. I was able to take my bike along the trail to enjoy a beautiful fall day while he... Visited Steamboat over December for a 5 day ski trip. We chose the Rabbit Ears because of the price. It was affordable, on the free city bus line, and within walking distance to great downtown shops and restaurants. I honestly thought the hotel couldn't have been that nice for the price, but we were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The room... More

I’m surprised this place isn't rated higher! Rabbit Ears is affordable, quiet, clean, and comfortable within a short walking distance of town. The Ski House, snowmobiling tour, skiing, and snow tubing companies all picked up at the lobby. Our room had the most beautiful view of the river. Don’t lump Rabbit Ears in with negative stereotypes associated with motels. This... More

My husband and I stayed at the Rabbit Ears on a Friday night in late Sept. 2011. We stayed in the building closest to the river on the second floor. Nice to open your sliding glass doors and hear the river rushing by; however, even though the rooms are nonsmoking, the hotel allows people to smoke on the balconies. I... More

We were a little unsure how this would turn out due to the age of the motel. We were blown away and overly impressed with the upkeep they have done to keep it modern. The beds were excellent, the rooms were so nice and super clean that we were surprised at the cost.... Very reasonable ! We loved the location... More

My first encounter with the office staff was sort of odd, because I didn't know if they were being rude or were simply trained to be western tough. As it turned out they were fine, but there was nothing like Four Seasons service. They were prepared to give us a room overlooking a busy road into town but after a... More

On our recent trip, we tried to avoid the chain motels seeking something unique. The Rabbit Ears Motel was just what we wanted. The room was large and comfortable and overlooked the river. The location was very convenient allowing us to walk downtown. More

We normally stay with medium to world class hotel properties, or very nice B&B's: very comfortable beds; clean quiet rooms; and convenient locations are always most important. Planning our first visit to Steamboat Springs and after reading the reviews and booking a room for three nights in late July - we had mixed expectations (I tend to be critical about... More
