We wanted to take a break from Miami Beach and television production when we discovered Chipeta Lodge. It was perfect...cozy, intimate, a real fireplace in your room and wonderful fellow guests. A great way for my wife and I to rest and renew. More

Wonderful weekend getaway for my husband and I. This was our 3rd time staying at Chipeta and each time is a little better. We love the location, the amenities on site, sauna, steam shower, pool, spa. Our room had a hot tub, which was nice for privacy. Overall can not wait to go back again!! More

I just needed a break from Durango but didn't want a Telluride time so tried out the Chipeta-so glad I found this unique lodge and loved the spa accommodations -felt like I was a 1000 miles from home but was just over the pass...will come again More

A friend took me here for my birthday. We spent the night (in Rm 301) and each had an hour massage. We both felt that we have had better massages and that they were over priced but the sauna was quite nice. Our room was a very nice southwest style room with a full kitchen. It had an amazing view... We ended up in a "condo" room, #301. We had our own outdoor hot tub, fireplace and an awesome steam shower with a skylight over it. Full kitchen, including dishwasher, satellite tv and comfy furniture. For $155 a night I think that was definitely a fair price. The view from the third floor was stunning, especially at sunset. It was... More

We stayed in one of the private rooms with a rooftop hottub for part of our honeymoon trip and it was okay, but definitely not worth the cost. The hottub was great, but the room had some issues... the TV was messed up and would not focus, so couldn't really watch a movie. After camping multiple days, that wasn't cool.... More

My wife and I stayed here Halloween weekend and loved it! The rooms were nice (but not fancy) and the Spa area was perfect. Huge sauna and nice hot tub. The young staff was very accomidating and helpful. We will return. More

We hosted our wedding at The Chipeta Sun Lodge & Spa in August 2011. The facilities were wonderful and the staff was helpful in recommending local resources for our event. One of our main objectives for our wedding was to have an intimate setting with all of our guests staying in one place and to host an onsite dinner and... More

While on an October whirlwind 8-day photographic road trip of Colorado, I chose to stay at the Chipeta Sun Lodge & Spa during one of my nights. It's a funky little lodge with a pueblo-style architecture. I reserved the Canyon de Chelly (pronounced "Shay") room, which is located at the top of their set of Kiva Rooms. There is NO... More

The Chipeta Lodge was quaint, rustic, and very unique. The rooms were modern and had kitchenettes, a fireplace, and rustic wood walls. Very nice; and best of all it was close to the True Grit restaurant (within walking distance). That is where John Wayne filmed the original True Grit. :) More
