AAA rates this motel a three diamond in their tour guide. Don't beleive it. This is a two diamond at best. Our 2nd story non-smoking room was permeated with smoke from the 1st floor room below. Oversized TV could only be seen from the right edge of the bed because of cabinet blockage. The only way to use the free... more

Stayed at Best Western in Ouray 10/5 & 10/6/09. Small room but very comfortable king size bed with more than plenty pillows. The breakfast building was a unique idea, a separate building where there was plenty of eggs, saugage, biscuits, gravy, waffle maker, several flavors of great coffee, juices, ceral, fruit, and clean, too. Motel personnel friendly, helpful, and easy... more

Nice room, comfy bed, fairly comfy pillows. Expensive pizza place on site which we didn't try. Mold on bathroom windowsills. Great pool and hot tub, heated by natural springs. Decent continental breakfast. Left my cell phone charger in the room and they claimed they never found it. more

We didn't stay here but the pizza made at the establishment co-located with it was recommended. It is probably the best pizza my family has ever eaten. more

We stayed here for vacation and to attend the Ouray Jeep Jamboree. Everything was above expectations, room was very comfortable and clean, the view spectacular, the location convenient. The hot springs whirlpool, pool and hot tub were fabulous, too. And did I mention the better than average continental breakfast? Great deal all around! We'll check here first on our next... more

The highlight of this motel was the natural hot springs and warm outdoor pool. The rooms were adequate, but ours was a little cramped. When we stayed in Sept. the breakfast did not start until 7:30 AM which was late for those of us who wanted to hike in the area. By the time the breakfast room opened there was... more

We stayed here for 4 nights. The room was very spacious and they provided some nice amenities including a mint wrapped up within the towels on our beds. They had a nice breakfast room that was included in the nightly rate. The hotel also had a nice swimming pool and an outdoor as well as indoor Hot Springs Hot Tub.... more

Only good things to say about this hotel. The room was clean and the view of the mountains was spectacular. The staff was great and the prices were reasonable given the views and walks to nearby shopping and dining. I'd stay here again anytime. more

From our extensive travel, we've learned that there are Best Westerns and there are BEST Best Westerns. BW Twin Peaks stands among the few we've experienced in the latter category. Say "rustic mountain accommodation," and I picture no-frills bare essentials -- clean linens, thin towels, couple of small bar soaps, awful shampoo and conditioner, TV with limited channels, noisy wooden... more

Since we needed a place to stay on our visits to Black Valley of the Gunnison and Mesa Verde National Parks, I checked out the reviews here on Trip Advisor. Many people gave it glowing reviews, so I booked a room for 2 nights. Since we were traveling with a dog, I agreed to a smoking room, which was apparently... more
