We loved the room, the breakfast, the staff....but. The room was dusty, we didn't get the room we reserved, several weeks in advance, and we had trouble getting someone on the phone to book the room. The friends that were to stay with us NEVER got anyone on the phone to book a room. The friends had to stay in... more

My new wife and I were searching for a quiet place to honeymoon where we would be able to rest after a stressful wedding. The Minturn Inn turned out to be the perfect place. We stayed in the Missouri Lakes room, which is the largest room available. We found it to be spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was equipped with... more

The wife and I stayed here 3/24/09 to 3/27/09 in the Angler Room that is downstairs and next to the kitchen. We got a very reasonable deal for $99 a night. It was a rustic place and fit nicely with the theme of the inn. I found the bed and the room had plenty of space for us to do... more

My wife an I stayed at the Minturn Inn for 4 days in early February. We selected the Inn as an alternative to the high priced Vail resorts. The location is great for touring and has easy access to Vail via car or shuttle. We stayed in the Lionshead room in the new building on the river. The view from... more

We loved the inn with its homey atmosphere, and the sound of the rushing river right outside the door was "music to sleep by." The innkeeper was friendly and prepared a hearty breakfast for us earlier than the other guests, as we had to leave earlier than most. The carpet in the room was somewhat diry, but overall the inn... more

Enjoyed a wonderful trip to the Minturn Inn. Started off with a standard room with no river view - but it was a lovely room with great ambience. We were upgraded to a superior riverfront room when my husband accidentally broke a washer on a bathroom tap! The new room was even better, of course, with a giant bed, impressive... more

Clean, Neat Room and Inn. Stayed in the Lionshead room and enjoyed the comfortable bed, nice gas fireplaces, jacuzzi tub that really helped after long days of skiing powder, Great views of wildlife off our snow covered deck and the creek. The only negative of this room was the overheating of it. We opened the window the entire time we... more

DH and I stayed here on a Saturday night in the Crosscreek Room in the main lodge. In high season, that room's about $100 cheaper than the river rooms, and for good reason. While it is decorated nicely and has a TV, shower and L'Occitane toiletries, the room is TEENY TINY. Reminds us of London's cheaper hotels. We don't care... more

Stayed in a "premium" room for about $250 a night. It was so small that there was nothing in the room but a bed and a night stand and a monstrously large fireplace. No room for my luggage, no place for my clothing and gear. (The notion that this room could accomodate a couple is ludicrous). The place is clean... more

For my wonderful husband's birthday, I searched the internet for HOURS looking for a perfect place to take him. The Minturn Inn, specifically the River Lodge rooms, did not disappoint. This place is absolutely gorgeous! The location is so awesome, along the river, in this quaint little mountain town. We slept with our balcony door open to hear the sound... more
