During our 2 week trip in Colorado, we stayed on 8 different campings. Glenwood Canyon Resort was by far the worst camping we have been The spots were small and not flat at all. No picknick table. The bathrooms were kind of dirty. Don't stay here! more

I had to cancel the last part of my vacation because my cat became deathly sick and I had to go home. Two days later after many medical tests I had to put my cat to sleep. I called Glenwood Canyon Resort 48 hours ahead of my reserved time to cancel my stay. I was told they would keep the... more

RV Sites are way too small. We could not even put our awning out properly. ( We emptied our sewer a foot or less from where a family was having breakfast and we needed extra long sewer hoses to access the sewer. Sites are not well maintained. (There were weeds coming out everywhere.) The train was loud and we felt... more

What a rare find! This resort is truly a mountain paradise. We loved the resort cabin. It was fully furnished and very tastefully, too. It easily slept four adults and two children. Sparkling clean, quiet and luxurious for a resort cabin. Some of the amenties included a large deck with a new gas grill and a patio table with unbrella... more

We made a reservation at this place and then counld not go but tried to cancel the reservation 3 weeks ahead of the scheduled date and they charged us $100.00. I spoke to 3 different managers all of them very rude and smug not caring about their reputation or customer service. My family has been going here for 20+ years... more

I picked this place because I am a fairly new camper and I liked all the amenities and being able to stay right on the river. But then when I got there I was a little disapoointed. No privacy at all. The river is nice but the train track on the other side of it is annoying, and yes, the... more

We stayed in one of the upper sites in our 33 ft Motorhome. Love the place. Amazing views! Friendly staff. Wished we could have stayed longer and taken in a rafting trip offered at the resort. Overall, a great place to stay. Very very close to Glenwood Springs. Also, if you to...a hike up to Hanging Lake is a must!!!! more

I can't believe this place. The web site (and high prices) makes one think it's a wonderful place to stay. We made our reservations over 3 months ago for a river spot. We got there and they had rented our spot to someone else! The staff finally figured out to let us take another spot but not near the river.... more

At 4 minutes to downtown and hot spring pool this place is convenient and easy. My popup was fine here with trains and all. The price seems to be high as you could stay at the hotsprings hotel and get passes to the pool for the same if not less compared to a cabin/rv spots. Laundry, wireless internet, store, the... more

My family and I needed a camping spot in Glenwood Springs and a friend recommended the Glenwood Canyon Resort. I have two young children and needed a spot that allowed us easy access to activities. What a beautiful area! The Colorado River is right by the camping areas. The showers & bathrooms were conveniently located & clean. They had plenty... more
