We stayed in the Royal Gorge Room, newly finished and next to the hot tub. The proprietors made us feel like it was our home, even with a complete tour of the building and history. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will return.

This was our 3rd place to stay in Colorado, we wish we could of stayed here for our week long trip all around the state. We stayed in the Plantation Suite with another couple that was traveling with us. The rooms were big and the beds were bits of heaven! Best night sleep we had all week! The food and... More

I loved staying at this B&B which is 125 years old and furnished with period pieces. The proprietors make sure everyone has the best experience in their home. My mother and I felt welcomed from the minute we walked in until our goodbye hugs. The best part of the stay was the incredible breakfast! Fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, a sausage... More

We've stayed at lots of B&B's, but Florence Rose is one of our favorites now. The difference from the others: Steve, Adam & Trevor. They make The Rose feel warm and cozy. Adam was warm and gracious from the minute we came in. He gave us a short historical tour of the home and grounds, and then had freshly-baked cookies... More

Every detail from providing robes in the room to homemade cookies at tea time and a breakfast to die for! Plus, the owners are the kind of people who truly seem to love having guests, they made our stay even better than we imagined it would be. Andy told us all about the history of the home and was SO... Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. Fantastic breakfasts each morning. Steve and Andy were friendly and professional hosts. Their attention to details makes for a 5-star stay! My family and I enjoyed a nice weekend visiting with each other in the spacious and beautiful Victorian home and the garden/gazebo setting. Hot tub is a major plus. Complimentary robes, private bathrooms and... More

I rarely stay in B&B's, but knew my girlfriend would enjoy it. In the end, I think I liked it as much as she did! Steve and Andy were gracious hosts and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The room was larger than I expected and very well kept. We had plenty of privacy. They accomodated our... Florencerose B&B located in Florence, CO. Beautiful home built in the 1800's. Decorated with antiques. Tea served as you arrive. Delicious breakfast served on fine china in the morning. Quiet, lovely gardens and covered hot tub. May 21, 2010 Sally Gooding, Golden, CO
