This is a normally quiet and gorgeous USFS campground with great Rocky Mountain scenery. But during a recent stay, day-users (Illegal) took over the campground, which is situated along the river. Dozens of noisy kids cut through campsites to get to the water, float a bit in their tubes, and repeat. And repeat. And repeat. And two small campsites near us were overtaken by LARGE RVs towing a noisy dune buggy and 2 ATVs. Not the peaceful camping experience we expected. Might be better to visit here in early fall. This time of year it's a zoo.
