We spent the MLK weekend at Durango, with the intention of skiing the whole time. We are owners at Wyndham, and have enjoyed many other resorts. Due to injuries sustained last year, I was unable to spend the weekend skiing, but that might have been a blessing in disguise. There was not any new powder at Purgatory, and therefore, many... More

The Wyndham in downtown Durango was a great location. We drove to our destinations each day, but each evening, it was nice to able to walk to have dinner a drink, and walk back to the hotel. The rooftop hot tubs were fantastic after a day of skiing! More

We stayed at the Syndham Durango for seven days in October 2011.We found the rather small units to be quite comfortable and had no problem with sound levels that others have mentioned. The location was great and allowed us to walk everywhere. We'd like to give kudos to Melissa at the front desk for being so helpful and to Pat... More

The Wyndham Hotel is part of the Wyndham Vacation Resorts, but is a refurbished former motel/hotel. It has no pool, small kitchens, one bedrooms, small bathrooms, living area and dining area. The units are fine for one or two people, maybe two people with two small children. The walls are a bit thin, so you might want to bring earplugs. Very... More

We spent ten wonderful days at the Wyndham, Durango and have nothing but good things to say about the resort and staff. The front desk staff went above and beyond for us. The rooms were adequate and clean but the refrigerator is a little loud but at the end of the day that's all you want to do is sleep... More

For time share users (Wyndham owners or exchange users), this is a gem. Location at foot of 2nd Avenue is very convenient, within easy walking distance of all downtown attactions. Since it's a converted hotel, the rooms are small, but comfortably furnished and entirely adequate for the usual week-long stays. A few things would detract from longer stays; i.e., poor... More

The rooms are really small, but nice. The desk staff was more than helpful and pleasant. We did the Mesa Verde tour and it was worth every penny. It was an all day trip that included lunch and non stop conversation...much better than the ranger at the location who gave very little information. We skied at Purgatory the rest of... More

My sister and I stayed at this condo, in a 1 br, for 5 nights and really enjoyed it. The room was nice and fully furnished. The staff at the Wyndham was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. More
