The condos are individually owned so request an A unit. They differ considerably. The resort has been redecorated since my last visit. It is located one mile from the ski lifts with with shuttles to and from the resort durming ski season. There are many hiking trails nearby, some you can walk to from Cascade. They have hot tubs, indoor... more

My husband and I recently rented a one-bedroom unit at Cascade Village for 4 nights for our anniversary getaway. However, we left after 3 nights and moved to a hotel. There were numerous problems with the unit we rented, some only minor inconveniences and some ridiculous. The carpeting was filthy, stained and dirty. The couch was dirty and sagging. No... more

We loved our stay at the Cascade Village. The only thing I would suggest to those who have never been there is to be prepared. The nearest breakfast facility is 24 miles away. There is a gas stattion and store a few miles from there but prices were very high. Over $8 for a pack of bacon. Other than that... more

Cascade Village is part of a large resort community in Durango. However, it is hidden away and nestled up against Durango Mountain. It is the perfect winter wonderland when it is snow covered. It was an absolute amazing trip, all from the fun road trip down with my sister, to the awesome condo we stayed in, to the fresh powder... more

We stayed at the Cascade village in a beautiful 3 bedroom townhome. Private entrance with covered parking, views out the living room were spectacular. Pool and hot tubs(there are three) were above expectations. Good sauna. Free shuttle to Durango Mtn resort. All in all this was a great place to stay more

Myself and two good friends of mine just wanted to get away for a few days in the mountains and in searching for a place to stay in the area came upon Cascade Village. We weren't looking for anything extravagant, just a place to stay where we could enjoy the scenery, hang out and have a good time, but when... more

First of all, the view is fantastic! We liked the floor plan, grounds, and staff. The pool was nice. We had no need for air conditioning. The problem is with the maintenance of the unit. We stayed in building 1 unit 20. The carpet looked GROSS, FILTHY and had some holes. It had horrible stains every where. It definitely needs... more

I read reviews on Trip Advisor of bad experiences at Cascade Village, but was assured by the booking agent that those were only the disgruntled customers and good experiences weren't shared. I should not have listended to him!! I discovered upon checking out that I paid $25 more by going through Durango Central Reservations as the hotel also charged me... more

Simply a beautiful place with it's wonderful surroundings. It made us feel like we were in a Swiss Chalet. The room was nice, the staff friendly and it was very quiet. A real nice place for retreat from the the hustle and the bustle of daily life. more

Stayed March 10-14 at Cascade Village. Have stayed at this property many times before and really enjoyed it. Unit #38 or 138 (AKA) was nice. UPSIDE: Lovely cowboy/western theme with large rooms, comfortable beds to accomodate an eight person group. We had a 3 bedroom and 3 full bath unit that has a large kitchen, plenty of space and the... more

Thank you for staying at Cascade Village. I am glad that you enjoyed your overall stay. I will pass your comments on to the homeowners in our rental program to suggest that they consider always allowing guests to have access to washer/dryers in the larger condominium units. Most of our smaller 1 and 2 bedroom units are not equipped with...
