Room was average for cleanliness and space, but upon checkout, (not mentioned anywhere before), we were charged an extra $50 "cleaning fee". We had opted for no cleaning or towel service after our first night and stayed 2 nights. We made no unusual mess - we aren't at all untidy - and besides the cleaning staff had not been in... More

We arrived in Durango after a long day of traveling from Baltimore, MD around 7 pm, after getting adjusted and settled in our room. We decided that we didn't want to drive back into town so headed down stairs to the restaurant inside the hotel to eat, that is scheduled to be open daily until 10pm it was around 830... More

We arrived in Durango from Dallas, Texas sometime after 3 am and we were delighted to have someone greet us at the front desk. He was very nice and surprisingly alert and talkative considering the early hour. We were happy to see that our room was EXACTLY like the picture we viewed online, and the view out the window was... We decided to try something different this year for the holidays. The Tamarron Resort was recommended to us by some friends. We had a great time! The Resort was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the price was excellent. The kids loved the pool, my husband and I enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. This area is so beautiful... More

This hotel is a great place to stay if you are just looking for somewhere to stay so you can go skiing or snowboarding. It was fairly clean and the staff was nice. The mountain was about 10 minutes away and downtown area about 30 minutes. I would recommend to anyone who wanted a decent place to stay at a... More

My wife is originally from Durango so each year around Christmas we retire to the mountains with our children to enjoy a couple weeks of the great outdoors. We had stayed at this resort (if you can call it that) three years earlier for a couple days out of convenience so when when my brother in law told me they... More

Yes although as some reviews have said the front desk was not staffed as it is more of a condo rental place it did have excellent service once they showed up. It was a homey comfortable place to stay. The restaurant that just opened will get better with time. With all the beauty surrounding you how can you complain. I... More

The hotel was quite dated, with old carpet and furnishings in dire need of an update. Rates were too high for the low end room, and the check-in experience was laughable with the young woman completing a personal call (for at least 5 minutes) before acknowledging our presence. Very weak. The hotel is 20 minutes out of Durango...be forewarned.

We had a fantastic time at the Tamarron Resort in Durango. Our room was clean and the spa was wonderful. Cheryl the massage therapist was awesome, which was our second time to have her as our massage therapist. Would highly recommend her and to stay at the resort. The scenery was beautiful and yet you were close enough for road... More
